Chosen by the National Endowment for the Arts as one of ten model summer arts programs, and the only literary program, The Cabin has long promoted writing and literacy from its downtown location. Efforts to get them to visit this side of the valley were finally rewarded when they chose True North as an alternate location for their “Curious City” Program. Student writers will work with professional writers in small groups to celebrate the stories and the voice of Eagle’s unique community. Students entering grades 4-6 will participate in the morning classes from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, and older students entering grades 7-9 will participate in classes from 1:00 pm -4:00 pm.
