"As far as I can remember I have always been interested in photos, but not necessarily photography.  I am intrigued by the history of the moment, the individual story each picture has to tell."

This work exhibited here is called Pixilated.  The spelling melds together the pixel and the state of whimsy and uncommon view of life suggested by the pixilated character, Longfellow Deeds.

The four mosaic canvas artworks presented here are impressions recreated using images of Boise taken by Falvey himself.  "I have thousands of catalogued pictures of Boise and its surrounding areas.   Keywords are assigned to each photograph for later retrieval.  A photo like, ‘Winter's Last Hurrah' is selected.  I then choose photos that will best contribute to the composition.  My digital tools include, Adobe Photoshop and Light room.  The most consuming element is the combining and recomposing of the photos to achieve my final vision."
