For the month of July, Carly Morisette is presenting her expressive drawings and paintings. Carly was born in Boise. And after living in different places, she came back home in July 2007 to be near her family. She shares a home with her partner Wendy and their three dogs. Although Carly has not had much formal training, her love of art began at a very young age and has continued throughout her life. Carly took every art class available up through high school and has attended several drawing and painting workshops. Her work today reflects her feelings at the time of its creation, and each piece has a special meaning to her.
As Carly says so eloquently, "All the work is based on emotion; that is what I want people to walk away with. I want each individual that views the pieces to have their own personal, emotional experience. Here is what I felt; take what you wish and leave the rest."
